I have been using the Murad Pore and Line Hydrator from the Blemish Control range for over 2 weeks now and I have to say I love it! As I mentioned in my first blog I am amazed at how long my make-up is now lasting.

My skin isn’t oily at all and it still doesn’t feel like it has dried out, which I have found is the case with many other moisturisers designed for blemish prone skin.

So far I haven’t seen a huge difference with regards to blemishes, I still get the odd one but after only 2 weeks this is expected. Most products start showing a real difference after 2-4weeks so I still have time to see how well it works regarding this concern. However my skin is generally a lot healthier looking and softer.

Another thing I have noticed is now that I’m nourishing the skin on my face and neck more effectively the delicate skin around my eyes is not as well hydrated. I think that this is mainly due to the time of year as it’s starting to get a lot colder and central heating is kicking in which can often dry skin out and the fact I’ve never used a specific eye cream!

I spoke to Nicole at the Bruntsfield salon who advised me that I should try the Murad Age Reform Hydrodynamic Eyes cream. It is such a lovely silky consistency and my eyes soaked it right up. I’m now wishing I hadn’t left it so late before taking more care of my eyes! Using a moisturiser designed specifically for oily skin and a separate eye cream makes so much sense!

I will continue using the pore and line hydrator as well as the Hydrodynamic Eye cream and hopefully I will see even greater results over the next few weeks.
