Zen sweeps the board at the annual industry Awards

We headed to Windsor full of hope and excitement for the super glamorous BABTAC and CIBTAC Awards 2019. And we couldn’t be more delighted to have won in 4 separate categories!

BABTAC is the main industry body and CIBTAC is the examining body with responsibility for standards and education. This is one of the hottest and most prestigious beauty events of the year and were thrilled to have been nominated amongst the the finalists in 4 categories. So, it comes with great pride and honour to share the news that we came away winners 4 highly coveted awards.

• Beauty Therapist of the Year (Jen Glen)
• Large Salon of the Year (Hanover Street)
• Small Salon of the Year (Bruntsfield Place)
• The Gold Award: an occasional award for long-term excellence and achievement (Jen Glen).

The British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (BABTAC), a not-for-profit company established in 1977, objective is to ensure the ongoing wellbeing of the professionals working in it remains as strong as ever and it’s an amazing feeling to have gained this acknowledgement from industry professionals, and fellow peers. I am extremely proud of every single member of the Zen Lifestyle team who helped get us here.

It’s amazing to think we launched the business nearly 20 years ago with just myself as the therapist and now we’ve grown to become this fabulous award-winning beauty salon and skin clinic. We’ve always strived to keep ahead with the latest technology and treatments, offering everything from relaxing spa treatments to advanced skincare facials and medical cosmetics, and this is proof that hard work really does pay off. There was stiff competition to even get to this stage but we impressed the judges on our commitment to innovation, customer service and training programmes for Team Zen.

We couldn’t be more proud of our Head Therapist, Jen, who has been a stalwart of the salon for many years, not only wowing clients with her exceptional treatment skills but also leading the practical training efforts within the business. However, it is a team effort and we are very proud of all the staff across both the salons for working so hard to keep our standards ahead of the game.
